The 200,000th MAN TGE rolled off the production line at the company’s Września plant in Poland in early October 2026, coinciding with the model’s tenth anniversary year. The milestone reflects the van’s growing role across commercial applications, from construction and logistics to municipal services and passenger transport.
The production figures reveal the scale of the acceleration. MAN reached its first 100,000 units by summer 2023, more than six years after series production began in spring 2017. The next 100,000 followed in just over three years.
Versatility is central to the TGE’s appeal. Approximately 71% of the 200,000 vehicles produced were panel vans, 21% single-cab chassis and 8% double-cab chassis. Nearly one in three vehicles was delivered with a body conversion, reflecting demand for application-specific configurations such as tippers, refrigerated transport and specialist work vehicles.
The milestone vehicle is a rear-wheel-drive MAN TGE 5.160 cowl with an automatic transmission.
Why It Matters:
The TGE’s faster production growth highlights the expanding importance of adaptable light commercial vehicles in professional transport. For fleet operators, configurable platforms that accommodate different operational needs are becoming an increasingly important part of the commercial vehicle landscape.
