Preparations are already under way for the next Busworld Europe, the international trade show dedicated to the bus and coach industry, following the conclusion of its 2025 edition at Brussels Expo.
The previous event brought together 559 exhibitors from 40 countries, including 81 bus manufacturers, and displayed 238 vehicles across indoor and outdoor areas. Visitor numbers reached 45,427 from 101 countries, underlining the exhibition’s international reach.
The accompanying four-day congress attracted 1,242 industry leaders, experts and policymakers, with discussions covering zero-emission technologies, digitalisation, safety, the economics of passenger transport and the future of long-distance coach travel.
These themes reflect the challenges facing bus and coach operators as they navigate fleet electrification, operational efficiency, passenger expectations and changing mobility requirements. The exhibition also featured 23 vehicle unveilings and innovation premieres, alongside awards recognising advances in vehicle design, safety, comfort and environmental performance.
With the next edition scheduled for 16–21 October 2027 in Brussels, Busworld will again bring manufacturers, technology suppliers, operators and policymakers together to examine the technologies and business models shaping passenger transport.

Why It Matters:

The bus and coach sector is undergoing a significant transition, from powertrain choices to connected systems and passenger services. Busworld Europe offers the industry a platform to assess these developments and translate innovation into practical fleet decisions.
