Volvo Launches Next-Gen Electric Trucks for Long-Haul Routes
Volvo's new electric truck range delivers higher efficiency, longer range and smarter connectivity for sustainable regional operations.
Volvo Trucks has unveiled its next-generation electric truck range designed specifically for regional transport. With improved battery capacity, faster charging, and enhanced connectivity features, the new lineup promises to set a new benchmark in sustainable logistics.
The trucks, which include the Volvo FL Electric and Volvo FE Electric models, offer up to 450 km of range on a single charge and support fast charging capabilities that can add up to 250 km in just 45 minutes.
Equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems, digital mirrors, and real-time fleet monitoring, these trucks are built for efficiency and safety. Volvo aims to support transport operators in reducing total cost of ownership while meeting strict emission standards.
"Our goal is to make zero-emission transport not just possible, but profitable," said Roger Alm, President of Volvo Trucks. "This new range brings us closer to a sustainable future."
The new electric trucks will be rolling out across Europe and select global markets starting Q3 2026.
